We’re going back on tour.

These will be our last dates of 2015. Also on the bill for York, Huddersfield, Worcester and London are our good friends Tropical Contact.

It will be great to see you all on the road again. Do come see us. Support independent live music at the heartlands!

soor_ploomsWell, that’s the brilliant ‘BRAIN WAVES’ tour over. Highlights? Too many to mention… singing for our lunch at the Bluebird Cafe in Edinburgh, our first trips to Aberdeen and Guernsey, Soor Plooms, amazing Mexican in Sheffield, Huddersfield floods, ridiculous packed house and singalongs at Camden Rocks, the Brown Chalice… too many highlights to mention.

Mainly amazing gigs with YOUR smiling faces… every single night.

THANK YOU to the ace people who came to help us out: Matt Delahunty (tech and driving), Rob Smith (merch) and Kelly (merch).

THANK YOU to the amazing bands who joined us at the gigs, making a great night from start to finish: Tropical Contact, The Scaramanga Six, Blackout Hotel, Modern Day Dukes, Obsessive Compulsive, RUNoffthestatic, Honest Crooks, Santiago Kings, Produkty, Buzzbomb and all the others who came and played with us.

THANK YOU to all the amazing promoters who helped out and did a great job: Kev in Newcastle, Fudge in Aberdeen, Mainy in Glasgow, Christian in Edinburgh, Mikey in Huddersfield, Jacko in Hull, Stu in Sheffield, Me in Manchester, Mat in Guernsey, Mark in Leicester and Chris and Jen in London.

And most of all… THANK YOU to every person who came out to support LIVE MUSIC and UNDERGROUND BANDS like ours.

We’re so pleased that the album seems to have gone down well. To see people singing along to every word to an album we only finished a couple of months ago was really gratifying and truly brilliant.

Next? We’re looking at some dates in November. Hopefully see you then.

YOU are brilliant,

ROCK. #rock

Well the chart results came in, we are currently sitting pretty at Number 3 in the Rock Chart – making us the biggest-selling British rock band in the UK this week!

This is a collective achievement by all of us – yourselves and us lot – and to say we are proud is an understatement.

Thank you for being a part of this, thank you for getting us to this position. It’s a huge achievement for a little DIY band like ours. Seriously.

See you in Sheffield, Manchester, Guernsey, Leicester or London, where we will be the ones swanning around like we own the place. (Not really – you know us better than that!)

Our new LP ‘BRAIN WAVES’ is available NOW at:

So to celebrate, here’s a new video we made with our good friends and co-conspirators at AshTV:

We were supposed to be filming in a swanky studio near Leeds, but it was flooded the night before we did it, so we had to come up with a new plot. Very quickly. See the video for how we went about this.

As ever, please share this around…. the idea behind this was to spread the word about the album now being ‘officially’ available. There’s plenty of people not into Pledge, or who don’t come to our gigs, but might take a chance on a £7 download. There’s a very real possibility that this week we might get into the charts, at least the Rock Chart, so every single sale counts. Please let your friends know about it.

A chart placing would be massive for a tiny DIY band like ours, and would strike a genuine blow into the world of corporate con-artists perpetuating their lowest-common-denominator tripe, as well as being a source of major PR for us lot. So please get involved, do your bit for underground independent music!

There’s Facebook video linked from our band page for you to share on there.

Thank you all in advance, let’s see if we can’t tell a few more people about our funny little group and grow this burgeoning and brilliant community around it.
