BiographyEureka Machines are a new rock band from Leeds, where everything is brilliant. Frontman Chris Catalyst learned his trade in bands like rock legends The Sisters Of Mercy, glam metallers AntiProduct, gonzoid new-wavers The God Damn Whores (with Jon Poole, ex-Wildhearts/Cardiacs) and Leeds punk stalwarts The Dead Pets along with a stint as the face behind the paint of Robochrist... ‘it becomes clear that these lives on the road have left him underemployed... it’s showy, choreographed, dramatic and totally engaging rock n’ roll’ (Sam Saunders, Whisperin’ And Hollerin’). Two UK tours (with Ginger of The Wildhearts, whose last two albums Chris has featured on, and AntiProduct) and a brief tour of Poland are already booked, and an album is currently being recorded for a Summer release on Wrath Records in the UK, Europe and Japan. Chris Catalyst – vocals, guitars, keyboards, trombone
Chris Catalyst was born in Beverley, East Yorkshire on 11th February 1980. His favourite colour is black and his favourite jumper is a big one. He likes driving his crap car and having the dullest birthdate in the history of mankind. Wayne Insane – big drums, percussion
Wayne 'Insane' Sowden is from Leeds and is built like a brick fucking shithouse. Steven Morricone – bass guitar, vocals, saxophone
Steven Morricone's parents once sold a motorhome to Kenny Baker, who played R2-D2. He has short brown hair and has four brothers including his twin, Paul. Davros – guitars, vocals, keyboards
Not much is known about the shady figure of guitarist Davros. He just seems to appear when he's most needed. His favourite car is a red one. |
